To replace the collet nut or collet on your Dremel 7300 MiniMite Cordless, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold down the blue button on the device.
2. Unscrew the collet nut with your fingers, as if you were going to change the bit. Continue unscrewing until the collet nut comes completely off the Dremel.
3. Once the collet nut is off, you can remove the collet. The collet is the silver part that grips the bit when the collet nut tightens on it. The collet may be in the shaft or come off with the nut.
4. To reassemble your device, follow the instructions in reverse order.
Please note that the device comes with a small black wrench that can be used to tighten the collet nut during reassembly or when changing bits.
