To install the MeTra 120BUCAM2 Backupcam-2 in your Cadillac-Chevrolet-GMC 2012-up vehicle, please follow the provided installation instructions:
1. Locate the 16-pin GMLAN29 backup camera harness.
2. Connect the Yellow RCA cable from the 16-pin harness to the backup camera input of the aftermarket radio. This will allow the video feed from the factory backup camera to be displayed on the aftermarket radio screen.
3. Connect the Blue/Pink wire from the 16-pin harness to the vehicle speed sense wire of the aftermarket radio. This wire is used to provide speed-related information to the aftermarket radio.
4. Once the connections are made, ensure that all connections are secure and properly insulated.
5. Test the system by engaging the vehicle's reverse gear and checking if the video feed from the factory backup camera is displayed on the aftermarket radio screen.
