To adjust the temperature and time settings on the Hamilton Beach HSV1000 Sous Vide Immersion Circulator, follow these steps:
1. Plug the Immersion Circulator into an outlet and ensure that the water level is between the MAX and MIN Fill Lines.
2. Press and hold both the "+" and "-" buttons for 5 seconds to toggle between Celsius (default) and Fahrenheit temperature units.
3. Press the "SET" button to change the time and temperature settings. The setting that is being adjusted will flash on the display.
4. To adjust the temperature, press the "SET" button once. The temperature will flash, indicating that it can be adjusted.
5. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the temperature to your desired setting.
6. Press the "SET" button again, and the time will flash, indicating that it can be adjusted.
7. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the cooking time to your desired setting.
8. Press the "SET" button again to save the adjusted time.
9. Press the "Start/Stop" button to start the heating process. The water temperature will be displayed, and the Circulator will beep when the set temperature is reached.
10. Add your sealed food pouches to the water, ensuring that they do not touch and that water can circulate around each pouch.
11. Press the "Start/Stop" button again to start the timer countdown. The ":" symbol will flash on the Time Display.
12. The Circulator will beep once when the timer reaches 00:00. It will continue to maintain the set temperature until the "Start/Stop" button is pressed. Press and hold the "Start/Stop" button until the light is no longer illuminated and "OFF" is displayed. Unplug the Circulator.
