Cleaning the Arzum Okka Minio Turkish/German Coffee Machine is an important step to ensure its proper functioning and longevity. Here is how you can clean the appliance:
1. Before cleaning, make sure to unplug the appliance and allow the coffee pot to cool down.
2. Remove the coffee pot from the appliance and wash it under tap water. Do not wash the coffee pot in the dishwasher. After washing, rinse the coffee pot thoroughly.
3. Dry the bottom, exterior, and sides of the coffee pot with a dry fabric.
4. Use a wet fabric to wipe the cooking sensor after each use.
5. Do not clean any of the appliance accessories with harsh or chemical cleaners. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, metal objects, hard sponges, wire brushes, or harsh cleaners.
6. Wipe the main body of the appliance, as well as the exterior side of the coffee pot where the energy transmission base is located, with a dry fabric. Do not plunge the appliance into water or wash it in the dishwasher.
If there is calcification inside the coffee pot due to lime in the water, you can clean it using a decalcifying product specific to electrical kitchen appliances or try using white vinegar. To clean with white vinegar, pour enough white vinegar to cover the base of the coffee pot and let it sit for a while. Then, rinse the coffee pot thoroughly with water.
