To set the countdown timer on the MINOSTON MT10N(NHT06) Countdown Timer Switch, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before starting the installation process.
2. Remove the wall plate and the old switch from the switch box, disconnecting the wires and labeling them accordingly.
3. Install the MINOSTON MT10N(NHT06) Countdown Timer Switch by connecting the wires as follows:
- Line (hot) wire: Connect the black wire from the switch to the power source.
- Neutral wire: Connect the white wire from the switch to the neutral wire.
- Load wire: Connect the black wire from the switch to the lighting or load you want to control.
4. Once the wiring is complete, tighten the screws to secure the wires in place. Make sure the wires are locked.
5. Fix the wall plate with screws provided by MINOSTON.
6. Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
7. To set the countdown timer, follow these steps:
- Press the "Timer" button on the MINOSTON MT10N(NHT06) Countdown Timer Switch.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to select the desired time delay (5 Min / 10 Min / 30 Min / 60 Min / 2 Hour / 4 Hour).
- Press the "Timer" button again to confirm the selected time delay.
8. The countdown timer is now set. The connected load will automatically turn off after the selected time delay.
