To install the batteries in the MIDLAND T10 and T30 Series X-Talker Two Way Radios, follow these steps:
1. With the back of the radio facing you, remove the belt clip for easy access.
2. Press down on the top center of the battery cover and slide it down from the radio to remove it.
3. Insert 3 AAA NiMH batteries or 3 AAA alkaline batteries, observing the polarity as shown. Make sure to install the batteries correctly to prevent any damage to the unit.
4. Slide the battery cover back up on the radio to secure it in place.
5. Replace the belt clip, making sure it locks into place.
Note: The T31 model also has a USB charging jack for charging the batteries. Please refer to the manual for specific instructions on charging the batteries using the USB jack.
