To install the Focal IC TOY 165 2-Way Speakers in your vehicle, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, check the available space in your vehicle and ensure that there is enough room to fit the speakers. Refer to the plans on the packaging for guidance.
2. If you are installing the speakers in the original location, make sure there is sufficient space between the speaker and the protection grille.
3. Ensure that the speaker is clean from debris and metallic particles, especially after drilling.
4. Connect and fix the cables or harnesses provided with the speakers according to the instructions in the user manual. Do not replace or modify them unless mentioned in the manual.
5. If a subwoofer is included in your kit, it is important to secure it firmly. We recommend attaching the enclosure to the floor or chassis of the vehicle for safety, especially in hatchbacks, station wagons, utility vehicles, or vans.
6. If a fuse is included in the kit or harness, use only the same rating fuse in case of replacement.
7. Once the speakers are installed, it is recommended to run them in for a few weeks to ensure optimal performance. Set the volume to a medium level and play music with a full bandwidth of frequencies (sub-bass through treble) during this running-in period.
