To properly install the Cabelcon TL232 TrueLock Connector, follow these steps:
Step 1: Use a Cabelcon stripper (item no. 98501105 or similar) to strip the cable. Ensure that the braid is smooth and properly aligned with the foil and dielectric. After stripping, the prepared cable dimensions should be as follows: A = 11.0mm, B = 8.0mm. If needed, clean the cable's inner conductor with a conductor cleaner (item no. 98500903) and the outer conductor with appropriate equipment.
Step 2: Place the back nut over the cable and push it backward until it reaches the mechanical stop.
Step 3: Push the front end of the connector and the back nut (with cable) together by hand. During this step, the cable's inner conductor will slip into the center seizing mechanism of the connector front part.
Step 4: Tighten the back nut by hand as much as possible. Then, use two open-ended spanners to further tighten the back nut until it reaches the mechanical stop. Make sure to keep the connector body in place during the tightening process.
