To connect the Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Open the app and tap the "+" button on the upper right corner to add your device.
3. Scan the QR code provided in the user manual or search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in the app store to download and install the app.
4. Once the app is installed, open it and follow the prompts to add your device.
5. Simultaneously press and hold the buttons "Power" and "Mode" on the fan until you hear a long beep. This indicates that the fan is awaiting a connection.
6. In the app, select the option to add a device and choose the Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 from the list.
7. The app will guide you through the process of connecting the fan to your Wi-Fi network. Make sure you are connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as the fan does not support 5 GHz connections.
8. Once the fan is connected to Wi-Fi, you can control it remotely using the app.
Note: If you encounter any issues with the Wi-Fi connection, you can reset it by simultaneously pressing and holding the buttons "Power" and "Mode" until you hear a long beep. This will reset the Wi-Fi connection and allow you to pair the fan with a new device or network.
