To set up the Motorola PIP 10 Audio Baby Monitor with Night Light, follow these steps:
1. Baby unit power supply:
- Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack on the side of the baby unit.
- Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable mains power socket.
- The Power indicator will illuminate.
2. Parent unit power supply:
- Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack on the side of the parent unit.
- Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable mains power socket.
- The parent unit will turn on.
3. Basic operation of the keys:
- Parent unit:
- Press and hold to power on/off the parent unit.
- Press to decrease the speaker volume. Press and hold to mute the speaker.
- Press to increase speaker volume.
- Baby unit:
- Press and hold to power on/off the baby unit.
4. Optional battery installation for the parent unit:
- Open and lift the battery door on the parent unit.
- Insert two alkaline batteries (Size AAA, not included) following the correct direction into the battery compartment.
- Put back the battery cover.
