To install the Lucci air Futura Series Ceiling Fan, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the ceiling fan and ensure all parts and hardware are included.
2. Examine all parts to make sure nothing is missing or damaged.
3. Install the mounting bracket to the ceiling joist or structure using the provided screws. Make sure the bracket is capable of supporting the weight of the fan.
4. If installing on an angled ceiling, ensure the maximum 20-degree angle is not exceeded.
5. Lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket, making sure the key slot on the hanger ball is positioned on the key pin of the mounting bracket to prevent rotation.
6. Twist the cover plate to access the blade mounting xxxx holes.
7. Remove the pre-installed blade screws on the fan motor assembly.
8. Insert a blade into the slot of the rotating member of the fan motor assembly and align the three mounting holes on the blade with the three mounting holes on the rotating member. Use the blade screws to secure the blade to the fan motor assembly, tightening them equally and evenly.
9. Repeat the process for the remaining blades.
10. Reinstall the cover plate by turning it clockwise.
11. Complete the electrical wiring according to the provided wiring diagram. It is recommended to have a licensed electrician perform the electrical connections.
12. Cover the mounting bracket with the canopy and secure it using the provided screws.
13. Switch on the mains power supply and test the fan operations using the wall control.
