To mount and wire the Westinghouse 61241 Washing Machine, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off the power at the circuit box to avoid electric shock.
2. Thread the mounting xxxx (A) into the mounting bar (B) and secure it with the small hex nut (C).
3. Place the mounting bar (B) flush against the wall at the desired mounting location. Use the side holes as a guide and mark where the pilot holes are to be drilled.
Note: The mounting bar (B) must be level for the fixture to hang straight.
4. Insert two plastic anchors (D) into the pilot holes (for drywall walls).
5. Align the outside mounting bar holes with the plastic anchors (D) if applicable. Secure the mounting bar (B) into place using wood screws (E).
6. Make an electrical connection by loosening the terminal screws on the terminal block (M) and inserting the live, neutral, and ground terminals. Tighten the terminal screws, ensuring there are no stray wires.
7. Place the back plate (H) over the mounting screws (A).
8. Secure the back plate (H) into place with the washer (G) and cap nuts (I).
9. Install the lamp (not supplied), making sure not to exceed the maximum capacity recommended on the socket.
10. Place the glass trim (K) over the glass shade(s) (F), then insert the glass shade(s) (F) into the fixture cover (J) and twist clockwise until secured in place.
11. Turn the power back on at the circuit box.
