To arm the system using the remote key fob, make sure the vehicle doors are closed and press the "Lock" button. The vehicle indicators will flash once or twice, the interior beeper will sound once, and the status LED will start to flash. If the interior beeper makes a series of beeps, it means that one or more wireless contacts are open but the system still arms itself. To disarm the system, press the "Unlock" button. The vehicle indicators will flash once or twice, the interior beeper will sound twice, and the status LED will stop flashing.
