To pair the Samsung Smart Remote to the TV, follow these steps:
1. When you turn on the TV for the first time, the Samsung Smart Remote will automatically pair to the TV. If it doesn't pair automatically, follow the next step.
2. Point the Samsung Smart Remote at the remote control sensor of the TV.
3. Press and hold the buttons labelled "⇧" and "⇩" simultaneously for 3 seconds or more.
4. The Samsung Smart Remote should now be paired to the TV.
Note: Make sure to charge the battery of the Samsung Smart Remote using the provided USB port (C-type) for optimal performance. Expose the remote to light when not in use to extend its operating time. It is recommended to use an original Samsung charger for charging the remote.
