To activate the motion sensor and join it to a LoRaWAN network, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the button on the sensor for over 5 seconds to activate the operation into installation mode. The LED will blink for 3 seconds to indicate that the sensor is trying to join the network.
2. Once the sensor successfully joins the network, the LED will stay on for 3 seconds and send an uplink message.
3. If the sensor fails to join the network, you can press the button for over 5 seconds to try joining again.
4. After successful network join, the sensor will send an uplink message three times with the firmware version.
5. The sensor will send messages based on different triggers:
- Motion Sensor Triggers: In free mode, it sends a message every 60 minutes. When the status changes from free mode to occupied mode, it sends a message immediately. While in the occupied state, it sends a message every 10 minutes. If the sensor is not triggered by the occupied state again within 5 minutes from the last message, the status changes from occupied to free mode and sends a message.
- Tamper Trigger: It immediately sends a message when tampering is detected.
- Button Pressed Trigger: It immediately sends a message when the button is pressed.
6. The sensor sends various information in the payload of the LoRaWAN packets, including status, battery level, temperature, relative humidity, time elapsed since the last event-triggered, and total count of event-triggered.
