To install the HQ POWER VDLPS36 Series PIN SPOT, follow these steps:
1. Have the device installed by a qualified person, respecting EN 60598-2-17 and all other applicable norms.
2. Ensure that the construction to which the device is attached can support 10 times the weight of the device for one hour without deformation.
3. Secure the installation with a secondary attachment, such as a safety cable (e.g., VDLSC7 or VDLSC8).
4. Never stand directly below the device when it is being mounted, removed, or serviced. Have a qualified technician check the device once a year and once before bringing it into service.
5. Install the device in a location with few passers-by that is inaccessible to unauthorized persons.
6. If overhead mounting is required, seek extensive experience and expertise in calculating workload limits and determining the appropriate installation material. Regularly check the material and the device itself. Improper installation may result in injuries.
7. Adjust the desired inclination angle using the mounting bracket and tighten the bracket screws.
8. Ensure there is no flammable material within a 0.5m radius of the device.
9. Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.
10. Connect the device to the mains with the power plug. Do not connect it to a dimming pack.
11. The installation must be approved by an expert before the device is taken into service.
