To set up the WAVLINK WN572HP3 High Power Wireless Repeater, follow these steps:
1. Connect the PoE (Power over Ethernet) port of the PoE converter to the PoE IN (WAN) port of the device.
2. Connect the LAN DATA IN port of the PoE converter to the LAN port of your router.
3. Plug in the device using the power adapter.
4. Push the ON/OFF button to turn on the device.
After the device is set up physically, you can proceed with the configuration:
1. Connect to the device's Wi-Fi network using your wireless device (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
2. Open a web browser and enter "192.168.10.1" or "wifi.wavlink.com" in the address bar.
3. The default login password is "admin". Enter this password to access the device's web interface.
4. Select your Country/Region and Time Zone. It is recommended to set a new login password for network security.
5. Choose the desired mode for the device: Repeater Mode, EasyMesh Agent Mode, LAN Bridge (AP mode), or Router Mode.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the selected mode. For example, in Repeater Mode, you need to enter the Wi-Fi SSID and password of the network you want to extend.
7. Save the settings and wait for the configuration process to complete.
