2. Remove the existing trim and lamp from the recessed housing.
3. If necessary, connect the proper adapter (not included) to the existing housing.
4. Place the module onto the trim and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
5. Make the ground wire connection and attach the ground wire terminal (factory installed on the module) to the housing, following national and local electrical codes.
6. Connect the module's female connector to the adapter's male connector.
7. For 4" applications, align the spring clips inside the housing and push up until the trim is flush with the ceiling surface. For 5" or 6" applications, flex the torsion springs and install them in the corresponding housing tabs. Push up until the trim is flush with the ceiling surface.
If you have a OneFrame/Square Housing, follow these additional steps:

For M-Series Round Installation, follow these additional steps:
1. Loosen the two wing nuts (factory installed) inside the junction box.
2. Adjust the vertical position by moving the junction box up or down. Once it is flush with the ceiling, lock the vertical positioning by tightening the two wing nuts on the inside of the junction box.
3. Connect the hardwire adapter (included) to the junction box electrical leads, matching the colored wires.
4. Align the trim onto the module and turn the module counterclockwise until it is secure.
5. Make the ground wire connection and attach the ground wire terminal (factory installed on the module) to the junction box, following national and local electrical codes.
