To use the self-cleaning function on the FISHER PAYKEL OB60SC7CEPX2 Oven, follow these steps:
1. Remove all oven racks and accessories from the oven.
2. Close the oven door and ensure it is securely locked.
3. Press the "Pyrolytic" button on the control panel.
4. Use the temperature control dial to select the desired cleaning duration. The default duration is 3 hours, but you can adjust it according to your needs.
5. Press the "Start" button to begin the self-cleaning cycle.
6. The oven will heat up to a very high temperature to burn off food residue. During this process, the oven door will automatically lock for safety.
7. After the self-cleaning cycle is complete, the oven will cool down and the door will unlock. It is normal for the oven to emit smoke and for the interior surfaces to be covered in ash.
8. Once the oven has cooled down, use a damp cloth to wipe away the ash residue from the interior surfaces.
Note: It is important to follow the safety precautions mentioned in the user manual while using the self-cleaning function. Make sure to remove any excessive grease or large food particles before starting the self-cleaning cycle to avoid excessive smoke or odors.
