To operate the EnerSys PRO Series Cobra Tugger battery handling equipment, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the battery handling equipment is mounted on a 24-volt pallet truck.
2. Familiarize yourself with the user controls, which are designed to be simple and easy to use.
3. Make sure that the batteries are placed on the slide strip bed for secure positioning.
4. Connect the equipment to the host truck's battery pack or an industrial battery using the provided parallel jumper cable.
5. The powerful 900 lbs electromagnet extraction feature allows for safe, quick, and reliable battery changes. Ensure that the electromagnet is properly positioned and engaged with the battery.
6. Use the electric drive push-pull system to move the battery into position for changing. The system is designed to be damage-free, with a circuit breaker system to prevent misuse.
