To install the PREVEX Flexloc 1 Bowl, please follow the installation instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Tools Required:
- Adjustable wrench
- Screwdriver
- Plumber's putty or silicone sealant
- Pipe joint compound or Teflon tape
- Bucket or basin for water drainage
2. Preparation:
- Turn off the water supply to the sink.
- Place a bucket or basin under the sink to catch any water that may spill during the installation process.
3. Remove the old sink:
- Disconnect the water supply lines from the old sink.
- Disconnect the drain pipe from the sink drain.
- Remove any clips or brackets holding the sink in place.
- Carefully lift the old sink out and set it aside.
4. Install the PREVEX Flexloc 1 Bowl:
- Place the sink into the countertop cutout, ensuring it is centered and level.
- Attach the mounting clips provided with the sink to the underside of the countertop using a screwdriver.
- Tighten the clips securely to hold the sink in place.
5. Connect the water supply lines:
- Apply pipe joint compound or Teflon tape to the threaded ends of the water supply lines.
- Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding water supply valves under the sink.
- Tighten the connections with an adjustable wrench.
6. Install the drain:
- Apply plumber's putty or silicone sealant to the underside of the drain flange.
- Insert the drain flange into the sink drain hole and press it firmly in place.
- Attach the drain pipe to the drain flange and tighten the connection.
7. Check for leaks:
- Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks around the water supply connections and drain pipe.
- If there are any leaks, tighten the connections further or apply additional sealant as needed.
8. Clean up:
- Wipe away any excess sealant or putty from around the sink and drain.
- Remove the bucket or basin used to catch water during the installation process.
