To add accessories to the Aqara Hub M1A Gen 2, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the hub is connected to a power source and the yellow light is blinking quickly.
2. Make sure your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If you have a dual-band router, disable the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
3. Keep your phone close to the hub and make sure both are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
4. Open the Aqara Home app on your phone.
5. Tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the app.
6. Select "Hub M1S Gen 2" from the list of devices.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process of adding the hub.
8. For iOS users, you may need to scan the product box or manually enter the HomeKit code on the hub to complete the setup. Once added successfully, you can check the hub in the Apple Home app. Remember to keep the HomeKit code in a safe place for future use.
9. If you encounter any issues during the adding process, please ensure that the device is connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, replace any special characters in the Wi-Fi name or password with ordinary characters, and check if the router has any settings that may interfere with the connection (such as Wi-Fi connection watcher function or AP isolation function).
