To install the Hager EER518 Motion Detector Highbay 360 Surface Mounted, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the relevant installation standards, regulations, directives, and safety guidelines of your country.

2. Select an appropriate installation location on the ceiling. The motion detector should be installed horizontally. The detection area depends on the installation height, with a maximum coverage of approximately 22 x 12 meters at an installation height of 8 meters.

3. Avoid sources of interference in the detection area, such as heating elements, ventilation systems, air conditioners, and cooling lamps.

4. Feed the connection cable through the cable entry cut-out on the device.

5. Install the device base under the ceiling using appropriate fixings. If available, install the device socket in a flush-mounted box.

6. Connect the device according to the provided connection diagram.
