To set the temperature on the somogyi FK1/O Heater with Fan, you need to use the thermostat. The thermostat is located on the appliance and can be adjusted to set the desired ambient temperature of the room. In modes I and II, the appliance will switch on when the ambient air temperature falls below the value set on the thermostat. As the set temperature is reached, the fan and heating elements turn off.
To set a higher temperature, turn the thermostat clockwise. To set a lower temperature, turn the thermostat counterclockwise. The operation indicator light will illuminate if the appliance is operating in mode I or II. If the thermostat switches the appliance off, the indicator light will turn off.
If you notice that the operation indicator light is on in mode I or II and the fan is on but the appliance is not heating, the overheating protection may have activated. In this case, set the thermostat to its maximum setting. If the heating fails to activate, the safety cutoff has been activated. Power off the unit, allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes, and check for any obstructions in the air inlets and outlets. If the issue persists, contact the service facility for assistance.
