To properly install the Garnet Instruments 709-RVC PM SeeLeveL II Tank Monitor for accurate tank monitoring, follow these steps:
Gather Tools and Materials:
Ensure you have the monitor kit, wiring harness, drill, screws, and mounting brackets as needed.Choose the Installation Location:
Select a location near the tank for mounting the display unit. Ensure the surface is dry, flat, and accessible.Install the Sensor Strips:
- Clean the side of the tank thoroughly.
- Peel off the backing from the sensor strips and carefully apply them vertically along the tank.
- Ensure they adhere properly without air bubbles.
Connect the Wiring:
- Attach the sensor wires to the control panel according to the color-coded wiring diagram.
- Connect power leads to the RV’s 12V power supply, securing proper grounding.
Mount the Display Unit:
Secure the display unit onto the chosen surface using screws or adhesive mounting pads.Testing the System:
