To install the eurolux ECC64T 60cm 4 Zone Ceramic Cooktop, follow these steps:
1. Cut out the work surface according to the sizes shown in the manual. Ensure that there is a minimum of 50mm of space around the cutout. The thickness of the bench should be at least 30mm. Use heat-resistant and insulated bench materials to avoid electrical shock and deformation caused by heat radiation.
2. Make sure the cooktop is well-ventilated and that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked.
3. Place a wooden insert, fixed by screws, at a minimum distance of 50mm from the bottom of the cooktop to avoid touching the hot underside.
4. Ensure that the ventilation holes around the outside of the cooktop are not blocked by the bench. Use glue that is resistant to a minimum temperature of 150°C.
5. The rear wall, adjacent, and surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand a temperature of 90°C.
6. Before locating the fixing brackets, place the cooktop on a stable, smooth surface. Do not apply force to the controls protruding from the hob.
7. Fix the hob to the bench by screwing the four brackets to the bottom of the cooktop.
8. Adjust the bracket position to suit different bench thicknesses. The brackets should not touch the bench after installation.
Please refer to the manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on the installation process.
