To install the FISHER PAYKEL HC24PCX1 24 Inch Wall Range Hood, follow these steps:
1. Before installation, ensure that the power supply is turned off.
2. Determine the desired height for the range hood and mark the wall accordingly.
3. Attach the wall bracket to the wall using suitable screws and anchors.
4. Connect the ductwork to the top of the range hood if ducted extraction is preferred. If recirculation is desired, install the optional recirculation kit.
5. Lift the range hood onto the wall bracket and secure it in place using the provided screws.
6. Adjust the height of the range hood if necessary by loosening the screws on the wall bracket and sliding the range hood up or down.
7. Connect the electrical wiring according to local electrical codes. It is recommended to hire a qualified electrician for this step.
8. Install the aluminum filters by sliding them into the filter guides.
9. Attach the stainless steel filter cover if desired.
10. Install the light bulb(s) into the light socket(s).
11. Turn on the power supply and test the range hood to ensure it is functioning properly.
