The soundmaster DAB112 Digital Radio can be charged in three ways:
1. Charge through USB socket: Connect the supplied USB cable to the DC IN 5V USB type-C socket of the radio and a 5V USB adaptor (not supplied). It takes approximately 6-8 hours to fully charge the battery.
2. Charge through power generator (hand crank): In emergency situations, you can charge the built-in battery by pulling out the power generator and rotating it quickly. The generated power is stored in the battery. Rotate the hand crank for 5 minutes to activate the built-in battery for initial use.
3. Charge through solar panel: The solar panel is mainly used for maintaining the built-in battery life and may not fully charge the radio. Place the solar panel directly under sunlight.
Note: You can use the radio while it is charging, but this may increase the charging time.
