The Add a Garment function on the Fisher & Paykel WM1480P1 Front Loader Washing Machine allows you to add or remove items from the wash cycle after it has started. Here's how to use it:
1. Press the "Add a Garment" button on the control panel.
2. The machine will pause and the door will unlock.
3. Open the door and add or remove the desired items.
4. Close the door securely.
5. Press the "Start" button to resume the wash cycle.
Please note that the Add a Garment function may not be available during certain stages of the wash cycle, such as when the water level is too high or when the water temperature is too hot. In such cases, the function will be disabled and the door will remain locked.
