To install the Hoover HGM900X Cooker Hood, follow these steps:
1. Before installation, turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet.
2. Place the cooker hood at a distance of 65-75cm above the cooking surface for optimal performance.
3. Install the hook on a suitable place, ensuring it is in line with the fixed position of the inside chimney bracket.
4. Attach the glass to the cooker hood using screws, gasket, and wall plugs.
5. Install the V-flap and expansion pipe, securing the expansion pipe with a cable tie.
6. Place the cooker hood on the hook and install the outside chimney bracket onto the outside chimney.
7. Adjust the height of the inside chimney and fix it to the inside chimney bracket using screws.
8. Ensure that the cooker hood is level to avoid grease collection at one end.
9. Make sure the ducting system of the hood is not connected to any existing ventilation system used for other appliances.
10. Ensure that the expansion pipe is installed horizontally or directed upwards towards an outer wall.
11. After installation, check that the cooker hood is level and the expansion pipe is taut.
12. Ensure that the expansion pipe selected for installation complies with relevant standards and is fire retardant.
