To take a temperature measurement using the DGFAN DIGITAL FC-IR200 Touchless Infrared Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Press the Measure button to power on the thermometer.
2. Aim the thermometer at the forehead from a distance of 1-3cm (0.4-1.2 inches).
3. Ensure that there is no hair, sweat, or dirt covering the eyebrow area.
4. Press and release the Measure button.
5. Wait for the beep sound, indicating that the measurement is complete.
6. Remove the thermometer from the forehead and observe the temperature reading on the LCD display.
Please note that the forehead measurement is an indicative reading and may fluctuate up to 1 °F/0.5 °C from your actual body temperature. Factors such as ambient temperature, cleanliness of the forehead, and other environmental conditions can affect the accuracy of the measurement. For more detailed instructions and precautions, please refer to the user manual provided with the thermometer.
