To clean the rug and floor nozzle of the Hoover CH30000 Commercial PORTAPOWER Canister Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Lower the brushes to clean bare floors by sliding the indicator to BARE FLOOR. Raise the brushes to clean rugs or carpets by sliding the indicator to RUG.
2. For the most efficient cleaning, place the nozzle flat on rugs and hard surface floors.
3. To maintain the cleaning effectiveness of the rug and floor nozzle, the brushes may need to be replaced occasionally. Refer to your nearest Hoover Factory Service Center or Authorized Warranty Dealer for new brushes.
4. If you notice any debris or blockages in the nozzle, remove the obstruction by disconnecting the cleaner from the electrical outlet and disconnecting the nozzle from the hose.
5. Use a crevice tool or similar object to remove any debris or blockages from the nozzle.
6. Once the nozzle is clear of any debris, reattach it to the hose by rotating the plastic latch ring until the slots align and insert the nozzle. Rotate the latch ring to lock it in place.
