To connect the J-Tech Digital JTDAT5CH Audio Extractor Converter to your home entertainment system, follow these steps:
1. Using an HDMI cable, connect the source device (such as a Blu-ray player or gaming console) to the HDMI input port of the audio extractor.
2. Use a second HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output of the audio extractor to the HDMI input port of your display (such as a TV or monitor).
3. Set the audio switch on the audio extractor to the correct EDID setting based on your audio setup:
- "Pass" mode passes the EDID information from your display connected to the HDMI output port.
