To change the drill bit on the DEWALT DC820KB 8V MAX Cordless Screwdriver Kit, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure the screwdriver is turned off and the battery is removed for safety.
2. Locate the chuck at the front of the screwdriver. The chuck is the part that holds the drill bit.
3. To loosen the chuck, rotate it counterclockwise by hand. You may need to apply a bit of force.
4. Once the chuck is loose, remove the old drill bit by pulling it straight out.
5. Insert the new drill bit into the chuck, making sure it is aligned properly.
6. Tighten the chuck by rotating it clockwise until it is securely fastened. Again, you may need to apply some force.
7. Ensure the drill bit is firmly held in place by giving it a gentle tug.
