It is recommended to clean the Pure Enrichment PEHUMLRG MistAire Cool Mist Humidifier every one to two weeks. Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of the humidifier. To clean the humidifier, follow these steps:
1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
2. Remove the water tank from the base.
3. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
4. Fill the tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio).
5. Let the vinegar solution sit in the tank for about 30 minutes to loosen any mineral deposits.
6. Use a soft brush or cloth to scrub the inside of the tank, removing any residue.
7. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
8. Wipe the base of the humidifier with a damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt.
9. Reassemble the humidifier and refill the tank with clean water.
10. Plug in and turn on the humidifier.
