Cleaning your nutribullet RX blender is simple and easy. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Always unplug the power base from the power supply outlet before cleaning.
2. Make sure the blending cup/blade assembly is not attached to the power base.
3. Clean the power base by using a sponge or cloth moistened with warm, soapy water to wipe down the inside and outside of the base. Pay particular attention to the actuator tabs to remove any sticky debris.
4. Rinse the blades in warm water immediately after each use to prevent debris from drying on them. Do not wash the blades in the dishwasher, as elevated temperatures can warp the plastic and damage the gasket. Never remove the gasket as this may permanently damage the blade and cause leakage. If additional disinfecting is desired, you may rinse the blades with a 10% vinegar/water solution or lemon juice.
5. The cups, pitchers, lids, and lip rings are all top rack dishwasher safe. Rinse them and give them a quick brush with a dish brush to remove any dried debris before washing them in the dishwasher. Do not use the sanitize cycle, as it may warp the plastic.
6. If ingredients dry inside the nutribullet containers, fill them about 2/3 full with room temperature water and xxxx on the extractor blade. Blend for about 20-30 seconds to loosen the stuck ingredients. Then, lightly scrub and rinse to remove any remaining residue.
Remember to replace the blades every six months for optimal performance.
