Before using the Wahl 9865-100 Pure Confidence Rechargeable Electric Trimmer for the first time, it is recommended to charge it overnight. This ensures that the trimmer is fully charged and ready for use. Simply connect the trimmer to the recharging transformer, plug the transformer into an electrical outlet, and leave it to charge overnight. Once fully charged, the trimmer can be used cordless for up to 45 minutes before needing to be recharged again.
