To set up and connect the Etekcity ESW03-USA WiFi Smart Plug Voltson Mini Outlet to your home network, please follow the steps below:
1. Download and install the "Vesync" app on your smartphone or tablet. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
2. Create a Vesync account or log in if you already have one.
3. Plug the Etekcity smart plug into a power outlet.
4. Open the Vesync app and tap on the "+" icon to add a new device.
5. Select "Socket" from the device list.
6. Make sure the indicator light on the smart plug is rapidly blinking blue. If not, press and hold the power button on the smart plug for 5 seconds until it starts blinking blue.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Vesync app to connect your smartphone or tablet to the smart plug's Wi-Fi network (the network name should be something like "ESW03-xxxx").
8. Once connected, return to the Vesync app and select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
9. Enter your Wi-Fi network password when prompted.
10. Wait for the app to complete the setup process. The smart plug will connect to your home Wi-Fi network and the indicator light will turn solid blue.
11. Give your smart plug a name and assign it to a room in the Vesync app for easier control.
12. You can now control the Etekcity smart plug using the Vesync app on your smartphone or tablet. You can turn it on or off, set schedules, and even control it with voice commands if you have a compatible voice assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
