Refilling the butane canister for the Funowlet 516C Butane Torch Kitchen Blow Lighter is a simple process. Here are the steps to refill the butane canister:
1. Make sure the torch is turned off and the flame is completely extinguished.
2. Locate the refill valve on the bottom of the torch. It is usually a small hole with a xxxx -like valve.
3. Take a butane canister that has a metal ring around the top and a little slit missing from it (a snap joint canister).
4. Hold the butane canister upside down and align the nozzle with the refill valve on the torch.
5. Press the butane canister firmly onto the refill valve and hold it in place.
6. Push down on the butane canister to release the butane into the torch. You may hear a hissing sound as the butane is being transferred.
7. Keep the butane canister pressed down for a few seconds to ensure a complete refill.
8. Release the pressure on the butane canister and remove it from the refill valve.
9. Wait for a few minutes to allow any excess gas to dissipate before using the torch again.
