To install the selltec IVEN Light, please follow these steps:
1. Carefully unpack the contents of the package and check that all parts are included and undamaged.
2. If you have any complaints or issues, please contact your specialist retailer.
3. Read the instructions carefully before assembly and commissioning.
4. If the product comes with a plug-in power supply unit, only operate it with this specific unit.
5. The fittings provided are designed for installation on a concrete ceiling or plastered brickwork. If you have a different surface, adapt the fittings accordingly.
6. If your product can be operated by a radio control system, it complies with the basic requirements of Directive 2014/53/EU. You can find the complete Declaration of Conformity on the manufacturer's website.
7. It is important to note that the manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper installation or unintended use.
8. Follow national and international electrical safety instructions for both installation and operation.
9. The electrical connection should only be carried out by an authorized specialist.
10. Ensure that the product is de-energized during installation and take care not to damage the wires.
11. Use only the prescribed and permitted lamps for the product.
12. When carrying out maintenance or changing the lamp, make sure it has cooled down and is de-energized.
13. Refer to the sticker on the lamp for the minimum distance that should be maintained to illuminated surfaces.
14. If you need to replace the light source or control gear, it should be done by a professional or an end-user, depending on the specific indication in the manual.
15. If the luminaire can be dimmed, it can be done through various methods such as an external dimmer, remote control unit, sensor, touch dimmer, or app. Refer to the manual for specific instructions.
16. Follow the care instructions provided to maintain the value of the product. Clean light soiling with a damp, soft cloth using mild and solvent-free cleaning agents. Avoid using scouring agents, acetone, or chlorine-based cleaning agents.
17. For repairs, it is recommended to have the light source replaced by the manufacturer, a service technician commissioned by the manufacturer, or a qualified person.

19. Dispose of old units and batteries properly, following the relevant disposal instructions. Do not dispose of them in household waste.
