To clean and descale the LFC SK19020LIVRN 1.5 Liter Jug Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the kettle is unplugged from the mains supply and completely cool before cleaning.
2. For cleaning the external surfaces, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use abrasive or strong chemical cleaners.
3. Do not immerse any part of the kettle in water.
4. If you live in a hard water area, it is necessary to descale the kettle from time to time. Excessive lime scale build-up can damage the kettle and increase boiling time and electricity consumption.
5. Most supermarkets sell descaling tablets, powders, or liquids that are inexpensive and easy to use. Follow the instructions on the descaling product packaging.
6. After descaling, rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.
7. It is important to note that damage to the kettle caused by excessive lime scale build-up is not covered by the warranty.
