To connect devices to the Altronix PD4ULCB power distribution module, follow these steps:
1. Mount the PD4ULCB in the desired location or enclosure using the included mounting hardware. Refer to the Sub-Assembly Installation Instruction for mounting details.
2. Connect the desired power supply output to the terminals marked [INPUT]. The left terminal is NEG (-), and the right terminal is POS (+). Ensure that the voltage of the power supply matches the input voltage specified in the specifications section of the manual.
3. Before connecting devices, measure the output voltage to avoid potential damage. Use a multimeter or voltage tester to ensure the output voltage is within the required range.
4. Connect the devices to be powered to the terminal pairs 1 to 4, marked [1P - 1N] through [4P - 4N]. All terminals with a common suffix "P" (1P, 2P, etc.) are the same polarity. Make sure to connect the positive (+) terminal of the device to the corresponding positive terminal on the power distribution module and the negative (-) terminal to the corresponding negative terminal.
Note: The Altronix PD4ULCB is a UL Listed Sub-Assembly designed for use with Altronix UL Listed power supplies. Ensure that you are using it with compatible power supplies as indicated in the installation manuals for the power supply.
