To connect a standby generator to the Siemens Generator Quick Connect Switchboard, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the generator is properly installed and connected to the switchboard according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Locate the cam-type receptacles on the switchboard. These receptacles are specifically designed for quick connection of the generator.
3. Remove the removable xxxx cover from the quick connects on the switchboard.
4. Match the labeled quick connect plug-ins on the switchboard (labeled A, B, C, or neutral phase) with the corresponding connections on the generator.
5. Insert the generator's plug into the appropriate quick connect receptacle on the switchboard.
6. Ensure that the plug is securely inserted and locked into place.
7. Close the xxxx cover over the quick connects when they are not in use to protect them from dust and debris.
