To install the CPU in the Shuttle DH670 with 12th Generation, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the computer is turned off and the power cord is unplugged.
2. Unscrew the four ICE module attachment screws and unplug the fan connector. Remove the ICE module from the chassis.
3. Unlock and raise the socket lever.
4. Lift the metal load plate of the CPU socket. Make sure not to touch the socket contacts.
5. Orientate the CPU correctly and align the CPU notches with the socket alignment keys. Gently push the CPU into the socket.

7. Spread the thermal paste evenly on the CPU surface.
