Installation of the hidealite Moon Slim IP44 2300lm should be done by a licensed electrician and in accordance with local regulations. Here are the steps to install the luminaire:
1. Ensure that the power is turned off before starting the installation or maintenance.
2. Make sure that the L (Line) and N (Neutral) wires are correctly connected. Incorrect wiring may cause damage to the sensor.
3. The luminaire can be ceiling-mounted. The highest mounting height allowed is 4 meters.
4. The detection area can be adjusted by selecting the appropriate combination on the DIP switches to fit your specific application.
5. The hold time refers to the duration the lamp remains at 100% illumination after no motion is detected.
6. The daylight sensor can be set to only allow the lamp to illuminate below a defined ambient brightness threshold. The sensor can also be set to switch on the lamp when motion is detected regardless of ambient light level.
7. The stand-by period refers to the time the lamp remains at a low light level before completely switching off in the absence of people. The stand-by dimming level determines the low light level after the hold time.
Please refer to the diagram and specifications provided in the manual for more detailed information on operating voltage, switching capacity, detection range, and other technical details.
