To clean the SILVERCREST SKG 1000 B2 Contact Grill, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, make sure to disconnect the plug from the mains power socket to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning to prevent burns.
3. Use a damp cloth to wipe the griddle after it has cooled down. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials as they may damage the surfaces.
4. If there are stubborn residues on the griddle, you can use a little detergent. Wipe the griddle with a cloth moistened with clean water to remove any detergent residue.
5. It is important to clean the fat drip tray regularly. Empty the fat drip tray and rinse it in warm water containing a mild detergent. Rinse the tray with clean water and dry it off before using it again.
6. Do not use metal implements such as knives or forks on the griddle as they may damage the non-stick coating. If the non-stick coating becomes damaged, discontinue use of the appliance.
7. Wipe the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, you can use a mild detergent on the cloth, but make sure to wipe it off afterward with clear water. Dry everything properly.
Note: If you have used detergent to clean the griddle, lightly rub it with oil afterward.
