To set the desired humidity level on the SHARP UD-P16E-W Dehumidifier, press the HUMIDITY button on the control panel. Each time you press the button, the display will change to show different humidity levels. The available options are CO (continuous operation), 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, and CO. After setting the desired humidity level, the display will revert to showing the current moisture level detected by the internal sensor. The dehumidifier will automatically turn on and off to maintain the set humidity level. If the ambient humidity is 2% lower than the set humidity, the dehumidifier will stop dehumidifying. If the ambient humidity is 2% higher than the set humidity, the dehumidifier will start dehumidifying again.
