To clean the Sunbeam BVSBKT3234 Electric Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Empty the kettle and open the lid.
2. Hold the lid open with one hand and grip the top part of the filter with your index finger and thumb. Be careful to keep your fingers clear of the mesh.
3. To remove the filter, simply pull upwards. This will disengage the filter from its guides.
4. Rinse the filter under a tap while gently brushing it with a soft brush to clean it.
5. To refit the filter, once again hold the lid open with one hand and the filter with your index finger and thumb. Gently push the filter back into the kettle until it fits snugly in its guides.
6. Rinse out the kettle with fresh water, and it's ready for use.
Note: Always remove the kettle from the power base and disconnect the power base from the electrical outlet before cleaning. Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or any other liquid. The outside of the electric kettle can be wiped with a soft damp cloth. Never use any chemical, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean any part of the kettle, including the power base.
