To clean the Midea MEC-1012W Personal Electric Hot Pot, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure to unplug the power cord plug and allow the hot pot to cool down before cleaning.
2. Gently wipe the inside of the water tank and the surface of the glass cover using a soft cloth soaked in neutral detergent. This will help remove any food residue or stains.
3. Use a wrung wet cloth to wipe clean the outside surface of the water tank, removing any attached dirt or debris.
4. Do not submerge the entire hot pot in water for cleaning. Also, avoid washing the water tank and base with water to prevent electric shock or malfunction.
5. If you are not planning to use the hot pot for an extended period, it is recommended to clean the water tank thoroughly and store it properly after drying.
