To charge the battery of the TEMPO TV220E CableScout Time Domain Reflectometer, follow these steps:
1. Before first use, connect the included AC adapter or DC vehicle power lead to the 12V input socket at the back of the unit.
2. The LED alongside the input socket will indicate that the unit is charging.
3. Charge the battery for at least one hour before using the device.
